when I do "[email protected]~/raspberrypi-linux$ sudo scp [email protected]:config ." it gives me an error saying can't scp because of "host key verification failed". Download Kernel Files Head to a Terminal session either on screen or using something like SSH, and enter the usual ‘cd' command to make sure you're in the main directory. On the startup sequence, I do see that it's loading kernel modules st7735fb, spi-bcm2708, and st7735fb_map. Probably expensive to make, since the pixels then have to be very tiny. This means that the frame rate is slower than it needs to be.

I'm not sure if it makes any difference, but with my fresh Raspbian image I took the following actions in the raspi-config screen: Expanded filesystem Enabled Camera Enabled SSH Enabled SPI I was unable to from the Ubuntu to Pi. Have you any experience of this and how to overcome it? For example, if you leave that PiTFT on for 30 minutes, the screen will go blank and you'll be wondering what went wrong.

Took me a moment to realise I need to use sudo to give Python access to /dev/fb1 but then it worked fine. Question = regarding the SPI mode choice - above you have 0 as the answer, but in this forum post : http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=28696&p=262909#p262002 3 is used. any ideas on how to wire it with the pi and get it to work?
