Did you try a reset? They don't even admit that it is a problem in their software!I can still listen to music because somehow I found out that I can choose my airplay device for sound ANY ONE OUT THEIR PLEASE HELP going nuts trying all sorts. They all just complained about being not able to do AirPlay mirroring. his comment is here

I have a 2007 iMac, and didn't think I could do this on one that old. I do have it password protected and nothing has prompted me for a password the way iTunes initially does. (Airplay does work normally with iTunes on my computer.) Update: I restarted If I restart Apple TV it may work for 20 minutes or so but then craps out.
