Each time I rebuild my machine and re-install VS 2005 I get the error as follows: "The project file .csproj cannot be opened. Remove VS (and the other programs/utilities you mentioned) from your machine and do a clean install.

I mean do you have to install first Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 and then Microsoft Visual Studio Extensions for Workflow Foundation or the other way around or it does not matter at An old ASP project has been passed on to me and I've been tasked to upgrade it to the latest framework (4.5.1).   • The problem was solved by using the command line with devenv /ResetSkipPkgs BUT after that I had to reset some of my Resharper settings.
  • First time the un-install/reinstall fixed it but not the second time and I again tried everything (or so I thought).

These projects have been copied from other machines.I've done all suggested work around devev / setupDll registrationetc...No result. And it will take about 1 hour to install it.
